Full Description
A rectangular building with a recessed southwest corner, comprising a single storey of red brick, four interlinked hipped roofs and an associated playground area to the northeast. The building was constructed as a child care centre for the families of base workers and servicemen in the early 1980s. It is the only remaining building from the Cold War base south of Second Street West. Most recently, the building was recorded as being used as a nursery <1>.
