Full Description
The 'Ebb and Flow' sculpture, commissioned from Peter Randall-Page by Newbury Town Council <1>, is located on Newbury Lock Island. It was the subject of a planning application in 2002 <2>. It takes the form of a very large granite bowl on a circular paved area, and was designed to fill and empty with water through a hole in its base, along with the lock itself.
West Berkshire Museum has photographs showing the sculpture in 2003 <3>.
