Full Description
The churchyard surrounding the 11th century church of St Mary's in Aldermaton is shown on the First Edition OS map of 1877 <1>. It had been extended north by the Fifth Edition map of 1971 <2>. The oldest burial listed on one website dates to 1500 <3> and it contains two Commonwealth War Graves <4>. The gate and railings to the west of the church are Grade II listed, as are some tombs and a wall.
