Full Description

A weighbridge is marked to the west of Hungerford railway station on the First Edition OS map of 1879-85 <1>. It is marked as, or was replaced by, a weighing machine by the Second Edition map of 1899-1900 <2>, and either moved or replaced by a weighing machine to the south of the station by the Third Edition map of 1911-24 <3>.
