Full Description
The Light Car & Motor Cycle Garage in Theale High Street is referenced in a motoring history of the Kennet Valley <1>. The A4 London to Bath Road ran through the village of Theale.
A building is marked as a garage at 22-24 High Street on the Fifth to Seventh Edition OS maps of 1968 <2> and 1989 <3>, respectively. A planning application was approved in 1999 to demolish the car showroom and ancillary buildings <4>.
