Full Description

The churchyard surrounding the Saxon or Norman church of St Mary's is shown on the First Edition OS map of 1880-81 <1> onwards. It had been extended to the north by the Fifth Edition map of 1968 <2>. The oldest burial listed on one website dates to 1750 <2> and it contains 32 Commonwealth War Graves <4>.
