Full Description
Bradfield is recorded in the Domesday Book as Bradefelt <1><2>, when it had 20 villagers, 31 smallholders and 9 slaves. There was land for 30 ploughs with two lord's plough teams and 18 men's plough teams. Meadow and woodland is mentioned and there were three mills.
