Full Description
Ufton Nervet village. Recorded in Domesday. See MWB1013 for the ruins of the old parish church. Present church built 1861-62. There is a moated site with fishponds just to the West of the village (see MWB1012). The old church site is at Ufton Green, 1km NW of today's village focus; a shifted village?
