Full Description
MOORING CHANNEL MAY WELL BE REDUNDANT SECTION OF CANAL FOLLOWING RECUT OF BURGHFIELD SECTION BETWEEN 1830 AND 1835.
There do not appear to be two parallel stretches of water on the Ordnance Survey Drawing of 1809 <2>, but the straight southern cut is clearly shown on the Burghfield Tithe map <3>.
