Summary

A Second World War gun emplacement or light anti-aircraft battery. This sub-circular turf covered bank is situtaed 175m east of the entrance to Cissbury Ring. It would have been within the area enclosed by the anti-tank ditch dug around the hillfort and is probably part of the defences for this area.
