Summary
The earthwork remains of a Post Medieval dewpond are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946 situated on a ridge north of Cissbury Ring. The northern end of the pond and its associated bank was destroyed by the anti-tank ditch which was dug around Cissbury Hill during the Second World War. The pond is oval and measures approximately 30m by 32m. Its original extent may have been approximately 45m by 32m.
