The 'Toll House', Ponteland (Ponteland)

The original toll house was demolished in about 1906 and stood on a site just to the rear of the present building. The current building was at one time a slaughter house for an adjacent butcher's but has more recently been extended and now houses a hairdressers and assumed the name of the 'Toll House'.
