Summary:Vis=1/9/1989 (rchme) a round mound, probably a bowl barrow, situated at sy05548796 occupying flattish ground on a bluff between two e-w ravines. The sitehas extensive views to the e. Although covered with heather, the moundappears to be composed of small pebbles and soil; the natural surface geology of the area. Subcircular in plan, it measures 11.1m n to s and11.8m e to w, with a clear break in its w slope. It stands up to 1.2m high and has a prominent, bowl-shaped profile. The mound is apparentlyundisturbed. There is no reason to doubt its antiquity.
