| Summary: | S/t. Vis=9/10/1976 irregular mounds of small stones about 12m diam. Cf. Sketch in register parish file. Vis=11/7/1979 (os). The area has been cleared since 1976, and these mounds largely relate to this clearance. All the mounds show evidence of modern dumping and eleven appear to be nothing more. In other cases the dumping seems to be on existing small cairns, whether clearance (prehistoric or more recent) or sepulchral. Vis=not visible (rchm app 1985). |
