The cairn is low, overgrown with grass, and is about 68m se of the waterhole known as black pool on the ugborough-harford boundary line (worksheet). Vis=22/7/1976 (grinsell, l. V. ). Following c. F. Hankin by whom it was found. Oval cairn with e-w axis. Diameter 7m by 5.8m, height 0.2m. Vis=not visible on raf 1946 ap (rchm app 1985).
