| Summary: | At above NGR the narrow valley is crossed by a massive pond bay of earth and shillet. Width 15m at base, 2m at top: up to 3.5m high. Originally 85m long, in centre there is a 14m gap where pond was evidently drained in or before 16th century. Apparently in lay hands, not abbey of Hartland. |
