Title: | Archaeological Assessment of the Site Proposed for a New Combined School in Nelson Close, Topsham |
---|
Originator: | Exeter Archaeology |

Date: | 1996 |
---|
Summary: | For convenience, the proposed site for the new Combined School in Topsham was divided into five areas for assessment by Exeter Archaeology. The north western boundary of Area B is the old hedgebank shown on the Tithe Map and is presumably of Medieval origin, although it has been truncated by a 5m gap at its south western end end. It forms one of the burgage plot boundaries. Other associated boundaries may survive on site as buried features. |
