| Summary: | Rectangular earthwork. Banks ploughed and spread, c 9-12m wide and 0.45m high. Angles rounded and projecting (angle bastions?). Indications of ditch on s side, counterscarp bank, and 3 entrances on n side. Condition poor, ploughed down. Probably an auxiliary fort; central gate in s, w + e sides, with only the central gap in n side likely to be original. |
