| Summary: | Context One Archaeological Services Ltd (COAS) carried out an Archaeological Watching Brief on behalf of Unwin Jones Partnership as a condition of granting planning permission for the construction of a new accommodation block and extension to Whitegates Building at Slapton Ley Field Centre. Despite the Site's proximity to a Middle Bronze Age burial site and its location within the medieval settlement of Slapton, no visible archaeological remains/deposits were exposed in any of the areas subject to groundworks. |
