| Summary: | We were asked to consider the use of the whole site for heritage purposes. The site was 7.5 acres of former railway land, including most of the remaining buildings of the former South Devon/Great Western/British Railways repair and maintenance facilities, across the tracks from the existing station for Newton Abbot, and approached through an industrial estate. Proposals for a railway heritage centre/tourist atttraction. |
