Summary: | Magnetic anomalies indicating a number of linear, curvilinear and pit forms were recorded, together with subtle indications of former agricultural activity. There is, however, little magnetic evidence for extensive or substantial underlying ‘cut’ features which might be anticipated in association with significant archaeological occupation or industrial activity. Probably the most significant elements are two small rings in Areas 1 and 10 which may indicate the presence of ploughed-down prehistoric burial mounds. |
