| Summary: | Although there are no records of activity pre-dating the Medieval period within the study area, the presence of such cannot be ruled out as there have been no archaeological investigations into sub-surface remains within the village. Levelling took place without archaeological supervision, and by the time the site visit took place the whole had been seeded and new grass had grown, therefore no archaeological remains were visible. |
