Summary: | Historic building recording of a detached linhay was carried out prior to its conversion to domestic use. The first building on the site, which stands remote from the main complex at Welland Down Farm, appears to date from the early 19th century and has some unusual features as a linhay. The upper parts of the stone walls, however, have been substantially rebuilt and a new first floor and roof structure put on within the last fifteen years. |
