| Summary: | An archaeological trench evaluation revealed two substantial parallel ditches of early Roman date, indicating the presence of a fort. In the southern part of the site a series of possible medieval and post-medieval agricultural ditches were identified, as well as a medieval leat serving a possible mill. A series of medieval vertical worked timbers were also recorded. |
