| Summary: | While walking around the Broad Down seven barrows on 5th May 2014. I came across this stone under nether hedge, hiding behind a tree. With a little research I found it to be a Boundary stone but not list in the Report - Survey: Exeter Archaeology. 2003. East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey. Exeter Archaeology Report. 03.26. A4 Spiral Bound. 141.
As you can see the stone is still there as it has been on all the maps from 1889, I took a Grid Reference : SY 17424 94465. |
