| Summary: | This project was designed to provide a fuller awareness of the range and extent of archaeological remains in part of central and west Devon through aerial survey and enhancement of the HER. Due to a combination of factors the archaeological resource of much of this area is not fully understood and the principal aim of the project was to enable a more accurate assessment of the potential impact on the area's historic environment of energy crop cultivation associated with the proposed establishment of a biomass generator at Winkleigh. |
