| Summary: | An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks associated with the development of the Turks Head Road Junction and the paths and verges surrounding it. A single feature was identified, a ditch running west-south-west to east-north-east in the south-western corner of the excavated area. Its fill contained three sherds of pottery dated to the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. |
