| Summary: | Reports on findings from two sites in Cullompton. At Shortlands Lane a multi-phase, Romano-British, civilian settlement was revealed beneath a garden. A site on Old Tiverton Road to to the west of St Andrews Hill and the town cemetry included a long-lived field boundary, which had been re-cut three or four times, and many pits dating to the Neolithic period. |
