Summary:Desk-based assessment and archaeological evaluation undertaken in advance of proposed development. Five trenches were excavated within which six features were recorded. The most significant of these was the former Bude Canal. Other features include two wide, shallow pits, historic field boundaries and land drains. No evidence of the outbuilding depicted on the Tithe Map was found. Finds mainly comprised 18th-19th century pottery.
