| Summary: | Report on a watching brief and supervision of metal detecting undertaken in February 2000 during removal of turf from the granite gun platforms and repairs to the earth revetment. A granite kerb was revealed at the junction of each platform and the revetment. A small number of Napoleonic finds were recovered including white glazed pottery, clay pipe stems and two military buttons. |
