Summary: | A report with the results of an archaeological recording at The Glebe, Trumlands Road, St Marychurch. The assessment consisted of a desk based assessment, photographic recording of the site and monitoring of groundworks. No medieval features or deposits were revealed with only features of 19th century date or later recorded. The nature of The Glebe and its boundaries remains unresolved. The earliest identified use of the site suggests that in c. 1600 it lay within a cider orchard. |
