| Summary: | South West Archaeology Ltd. was commissioned by Midas Construction Ltd.on behalf of Sterling Globus Ltd. to undertake an archaeological evaluation and rapid building recording at 79 Heavitree Road, Exeter, Devon, in advance of the development of the land. This report presents the results of a walkover survey, archaeological evaluation and rapid building recording. The site contains the former City Children’s Home which was built in the grounds of the 18th century workhouse. |
