| Summary: | (Dec 2013) An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in August and September 2013 at Tithebarn Green (Monkerton), Devon (forty-three trenches). The evaluation identified a number of archaeological features which generally correlated well with the results of a preceding geophysical survey; (ditches, pits, postholes and a stone structure, generally dated to one of four broad periods; early prehistoric, Roman, medieval and postmedieval/modern. |
