The Priest's House is a former church house dating from circa 1500. By the 19th century it was in use as a poor house and is described as in a ruinous condition in 1858. It was saved from demolition in 1904 and restoration began in 1906. It was acquired by The Landmark Trust in 1983 when further restoration works took place. |
