Summary:	Historic building recording undertaken prior to and during conversion and conservation of the redundant church into the new town museum, community space and council offices. On site recording together with documentary research and small scale archaeological investigations enabled a fuller understanding of the churches 180 year old history and development. In particular the project highlighted the rarity and importance of the stained glass and the high quality of the ceiling of the 1881 chancel.
