Summary:This paper describes the recovery of, and catalogues many complete or near-complete North Devon pots from the River Taw, ranging in date from the 13th- to the 18th century. Various other recent finds of North Devon pottery are also recorded: 16th century kiln wasters from Litchdon Street, groups of ceramics from Bear Street and Boutport Street; a coin hoard pot from Abbotsham; a collection of sgraffito-decorated wares from fieldwalking at Pickards Down; pottery concealed in a thatched roof, and a newly recognised sgraffito-decorated cradle.
