| Summary: | Report presenting the results of an assessment including the results of a walkover survey undertaken as part of an environmental assessment for the proposed location for the Croyde Sewage Treatment Works. The proposed pipeline routes cover a distance of c2.2km between four possible work sites and lie entirely within the ND AONB.
The features of archaeological interest directly affected by the scheme are various hedgebanks of potential medieval origin and probable prehistoric land surfaces beneath the dunes at Croyde Burrows. However, the scheme area as a whole is considered to be of archaeological interest. |
