| Summary: | Wessex Archaeology were commissioned on behalf of Network Rail to undertake a geophysical survey of the Church Rocks wreck site as part of the assessments in advance of proposed improvements to the railway line between Holcombe and Teighmouth. No definitive evidence of the wreck site was identified in the survey. However, 21 anomalous features of possible anthropogenic origin were identified in the data within the study area, some or all of which may be related to the wreck site. |
