| Summary: | A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was undertaken during works associated with the construction of a new retaining wall at St Andrew's Churchyard which included the removal of a collapsed section of graveyard wall. This exposed a dark brown silty sand with frequent slate fragments interpreted as historic made ground probably resulting from earlier works. No deposits, features or dating evidence of earlier archaeological activity was found. |
