| Summary: | Addition of New Record.Vis=28/7/1982(griffiths) rectangular stone built structure on east bank of canal, and obviously built at the same time as (or slightly after) the canal (c.1840). The structure has five round-headed arches facing the water, and is buttressed on the front. Built about 1840 to allow shipment of lime to taunton via the canal (see st01ne/9)(hadfield). |
