Summary:Three adjacent roadside milestones set in middle of stone wall approx 18m west of Lambert Lane Junction. Three adjacent inscribed roadside milestones. Late 18th - early 19th century. Granite and Portland stone. All plain slabs with elliptical heads. On left a broad granite stone inscribed 'Exeter 11 Miles, 2 Furlongs, 82 Poles'. Central narrow stone of Portland stone inscribed '11 Miles, 38 Poles from the Centre of Exe Bridge'. Right side a narrow stone of Portland stone inscribed 'Here Ends Exeter Trust'. Two of these are Turnpike Trust milestones.
