| Summary: | A poor house formerly stood at the top of the church steps. As entry in the burial register for 1657 indicates that it was in use as such at this time. The church accounts shown that it was turned into a workhouse in 1736. In1885 the upper floor was used as a girl’s school. At the other end were two or three cottages. |
