| Summary: | Castle comprised a square keep, with small bailey on the landward side; the bailey was enclosed with a curtain wall, which ends probably abutted onto the keep. Extant remains of two periods. The keep and curtain wall of random rubble are 13th century and in 17th century Civil War a large bastion was added on SE side and the curtain walls were refurbished. |
