| Summary: | Addition of New Record.Vis=formed part of the manor of bishops tawton. Earliest reference in 1332. No further medieval references located. Leases exist from 1562 to 20c. In 1895 pill comprised a farmhouse and 6 outbuildings were out of use. The present owner saw the house burn down.1940 os map shows a further outbuilding out of use and the ruined farm was finally destroyed by artillery during wwii training. |
