Summary: | Chapel of St Ann, Lundy Island. Site unknown. May have been a separate edifice to St Helen's church, or possibly an aisle or recess in the church itself bearing the name of oratory of St Ann. Mentioned by J. R. Chanter in Lundy Island. Benjamin Donn's Atlas of Devon Maps (1765) shows a well in the centre of the island, and a little to the south the ruins set of St Ann's Chapel. Cary's English Atlas 1793 also shows it. |
