Date:1986
Summary:Church of the Holy Cross. Fabric of nave and chancel c13, south transept c13 or c14, tower c15, vestry probably c19. Stone rubble with granite dressings, the tower ashlar masonry with granite quoins and lacing, slate roofs. Nave, chancel, west tower, south transept, south east vestry, south west porch. Early English and perpendicular with considerable c19 replacement. A c13 nave and chancel church may have been extended in the c14 by the south transept.
