More information : (TA 1437 4860) Air raid shelter.

This air raid shelter is situated to the east of Catfoss Airfield
near the officers' houses at Remmington Avenue. The building is a
rectangular plan, semi-sunken brick built air raid shelter divided
internally into two chambers and an entrance chamber, it possibly had
a blocked emergency exit. When the site was visited by the Fortress
Studies Group in 1992 they found the site in good condition and
considered it to be in good condition. (1)
