Summary : A short linear earthwork, possibly a Post Medieval path, is visible on aerial photographs.
More information : NY 4505 6254. A short linear bank, possibly a Post Medieval path, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs and has been mapped by English Heritage's Hadrian's Wall NMP. The bank is straight, 120 metres long, and may be a landscape feature or field boundary associated with Scaleby Castle. It is located just to the east of the castle moat. (1-2)
