Summary : A group of linear parchmarks and an amorphous area of parching, which may be the remains of Roman structures, are visible on historic air photographs. It appears that the cutting of the new A1 corridor through this area would have destroyed most if not all of these features.

It appears that the cutting of the new A1 corridor through this area would have destroyed most if not all of these features. The linear elements are aligned parallel or perpendicular to the presumed course of Dere Street Roman Road (UID 1031405) (1-2)
