More information : (SU 6181 0028) Fort [NR] (Remains of). (1) The only work known as this point is an early (1678) earthwork bastion of the Gosport Lines, which was superseded in the C 18. Enough must have survived in 1870 to give the impression of an isolated fort. (2) No remains. (3)
